Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has ordered courts to pardon 130convicts for Eid al-Fitr, RAPSI reports.
Iran pardoned 100 convicts in 100, including people protesting in Tehran in 2009, when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad became president for the second terms of office. His opponent Mir-Hossein Mousavi accused Ahmadinejad of falsifying the election results. Dozens of people died and hundreds were injured in clashes with the police during the protests.
