According to the results of a founding conference in Tiraspol, an
association of young diplomats of Transdniester, Abkhazia and South
Ossetia has been established, RIA Novosti reports, citing the
press-service of Transdniester’s Foreign Office.
The protocol establishing the association by the community ‘For
Democracy and the Rights of Peoples’ was signed by Pachug Chukbar
(Abkhazia), Sergey Tadtayev (South Ossetia) and Sergey Leontyev
(Transdniester).
The association will become a platform for exchanging views,
experience, discussion of topical issues of foreign policy and
development of coordinated positions.
The community ‘For Democracy and the Rights of Peoples’ was
established in June 2006, consisting of Abkhazia, South Ossetia and
Transdniester. In August 2008 Russia recognized the independence of
South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
