Valentina Kazakova, head of the department for citizenship of the Russian Federal Migration Service, said that they plan to discuss a simplified order of citizenship granting to former citizens of the USSR at a presidential commission, Interfax reports.
She clarified that such procedure is in force, but it is only used for specific categories of USSR citizens and only as part of the trilateral agreement of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
