Azerbaijani Ambassador to Tajikistan Abbasali Gasanov has met Minister for Transport Nizom Khakimov, AzerTAG reports.
The meeting was organized within the framework of development of trade-economic ties launched after the visit of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon to Azerbaijan.
Gasanov noted that construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway will be completed this year. Azerbaijani and Tajik aluminum factories show successful cooperation.
Khakimov plans to visit Baku in the near future. Gasanov noted the need to open direct flights to boost trade turnover.
