Gilani Saipov has been accused of murdering Khasavyurt District head Alimsoltan Alkhamatov, as stated by a spokesman of the Russian Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin, RIA Novosti reports.
Saipov was detained in August 2012. The police had searches on August 14-17, 2012.
The police suspect Khabib Uamakhanov and Mikhail Kadiyev as the murderers and Khabib Budaykhanov as their assistant. Budaykhanov got 12 years of conviction. The other two were put on the federal and international wanted list. Saipov may be sentenced to life.
Alkhamatov was shot by unidentified gunmen in the south-western part of Moscow in September 2009. His driver was wounded.
