Free Syrian Army takes control over Armenian quarter of Aleppo

The Free Syrian Army has occupied the Armenian quarter of Aleppo,
international media report.

For three days now there has been no mobile communication in Aleppo, while for more
than a week the town has been off the internet.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star reports that the Syrian army shelled
districts in and around the northern city of Aleppo on Tuesday,
killing nine civilians, among them women and children, citing the
Syrian Human Rights Observer organisation.
