Russian president dismisses drug control chief of North Ossetia

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed several high-ranking police officials. This includes Major-General Mairbek Bichegkuyev, Chief of the Directorate of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service of North Ossetia.

Other dismissed officials are Igor Baranov, Deputy Chief of the Main Internal Security Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry, Andrey Zdor, Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate for Economic Security and Corruption Control of the Interior Ministry, and Sergey Zubkov, Deputy Director of the CIS Bureau for Coordination of Organized Crime Control and Other Dangerous Crimes.
