Mass protests have started at Khorog, the administrative center of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan, over the murder of a field commander Imomnazar Imomnazarov, ITAR-TASS reports.
The commander was killed last night. Protesters demand the Tajik president to end violence in the region and enforce order. The police have prevented people from breaking in the administrative building.
