Incumbent Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili of the United National Movement, billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili of Georgian Dream (opposition), Georgy Targamadze of the Christian-Democratic Movement and David Gamkrelidze leading the New Rights, Trend reports.
The Georgian prime minister will become the main executive of Georgia in 2013, according to constitutional amendments.
All candidates will have equal opportunities for debates on television. But there are still some disagreements. Ivanishvili wants to debate with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, rather than Merabishvili.
