The Russian military base in Syria's Tartus is not being evacuated, Newsland reports.
Some media reported on Wednesday that 78 people from the base boarded PM-138, a floating workshop.
The facility has only 2 people operating at the so-called 720 PMTO. The rest are the crew and security officers usually staying on PM-138.
Colonel Dmitry Zhavoronkov, Commander of the base, said that they planned no evacuation and nothing had changed since July. PM-138 Captain Alexander Kashalab confirmed the information.
