The staff of Armenian state prosecutors celebrates on Thursday the Day
of Prosecution Staff. The Prosecutor General of Armenia, Agvan
Ovsepyan, noted the progress of the organization this year at the
session dedicated to the professional holiday and the 92nd anniversary
of the prosecution, News Armenia reports.
The Prosecutor General pointed out the new goals, such as search,
preparation and employment of the staff. He also emphasize the
importance of law, the protection of human rights and the interests of
the country.
He also noted the disadvantages of the system, including the work of
the court system. According to Ovsepyan, it is necessary to study
crime statistics of. Over 60 staff members, as well as the veterans of
the prosecution system, received various awards.
