Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has thanked Ricardo Millori, head of the OSCE PA delegation to Georgia, for the visit, the president’s spokeswoman Manana Mandzhgaladze said, Trend reports.
The sides discussed clarity of elections and equal opportunities of candidates.
Georgian Minister for Culture Nika Rurua called OSCE’s pointing out signs of Leninism in the electoral campaigning period “foolishness”. He disavowed the statement, saying that journalists misinformed him about Millori’s words.
Georgia will have parliamentary polls on October 1, 2013.
