Rogozin: private businesses to be encouraged to participate in armament program

The share of private businesses in defense contracts will increase,
epsecially after the corporatization of state-owned enterprises,
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said today. "One
cannot always produce everything on state money," Rogozin said.

Vladimir Putin has earlier supported the establishment of a
Public-Private Partnership Council under the Military-Industrial
Complex governmental commission. It will hold its first
meeting in September, RIA Novosti reports.

Rogozin arrived today on a working visit to Nizhny Tagil, where he
visited the exhibition of technologies "Defense and Protection -
2012."
