The governments of Iran and Syria have denied a report in The Wall
Street Journal that Tehran supplied Damascus with radar systems in the
middle of 2009.
The article in the US publication said that the systems were to be
used by Syria as defense against possible attacks by Israel.
A spokesman for the Syrian embassy in the USA said that the report was
based on Isareli disinformation.
