An unidentified armed group was discovered near Dagestan on the Russian-Georgian border last night, Trend reports.
The police have blocked the road from the Lapankuri Village of the Telavi District (Kakheti Region, Eastern Georgia). About 30 vehicles with police officers and the military arrived in the evening of August 28.
Georgian Interior Minister Bacho Akhalaya was at the village last night.
Five young people were reportedly missing for three days in the area, as reported on August 28. They were aged 25. Locals fear that they were kidnapped. The chief administrator of Telavi said that they had been found. But they have not returned yet.
