The Dagestani police have identified the murderer of Sheikh Sayid Afandi, RIA Novosti reports.
Aminat Kurbanova (Saprykina), born in 1982, lived on the Street of Kotrov, 124, in Makhachkala. She entered the sheikh’s house and activated a bomb equivalent to 1.5 kg of TNT, killing herself and the sheikh. Six other people died.
Kurbanova was on the wanted list for two terrorist attacks at a police patrol in Makhachkala on May 3.
