The European Union has approved the annual action program, granting Armenia €60 million for legal reforms, development of bilateral relations, political association and economic integration in the EU, Mediamax reports.
The program consists of three parts. It was developed within the framework of Eastern Partnership, a Polish-Swedish initiative for Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine. The EU plans to grant €600 million to the said states until 2013 for development of state institutions, border control and support of small companies.
