The UN High Commissioner for Refugees has registered an increased flow of people fleeing Syria, RIA Novosti reports on Friday.
15,000 people left the country on August 26-29. The UN said that there were 228,976 refugees registered on August 29.
Adrian Edwards of the UN High Commission for Refugees said that over 80,000 refugees were registered in Turkey, 72,000 in Jordan and 57,000 in Iran.
