Russian constructors to develop UAV weighing 200 kg

Russian constructors are working on a new set of unmanned reconnaissance and surveillance drones "ZALA 421-20" which will weigh 200 kg, Interfax quotes the chief constructor of the group of companies "ZALA AERO", Alexander Zakharov.

The takeoff weight of the "ZALA 421-20" drone is 200 kg. Its radio range is from 70-100 km, the duration of flight is up to 8-10 hours and the altitude it can take is up to 3700 meters. Its speed is from 90-220 km/h. The machine is capable of carrying a load of 50 kg.
