Bulgaria has postponed plans to join the euro zone die to the current economic situation, Bulgarian Minister for Finances Simeon Djankov said, Gazeta.ru reports.
The minister considers it way too risky. He added that changes to the rules in the next year or two are unclear. People want to know whether they will need to save other states from default if the country joins the euro zone, Djankov adds.
Some states are still trying to recover from the recession of 2008. Greece has a high risk of default.
