New chief of Rosatom Monitoring Council appointed

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin has replaced 5 out of 9 members of the Rosatom Monitoring Council, Interfax reports.

Andrey Belousov, Minister for Economic Development and Director of the Department for Economy and Finances of the Russian government, Arkady Dvorkovich, Vice Premier and presidential assistant, Sergey Prikhodko, deputy head of the government’s office and presidential assistant, Sergey Shmarko, former Energy Minister, and Igor Shuvalov, deputy head of the government and head of the monitoring council have left the monitoring council.

They have been replaced by Dmitry Rogozin, Vice Premier and head of the monitoring council, Andrey Klepach, Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Alexander Novak, Energy Minister, Yuri Trutnev and Yuri Ushakov, presidential assistants.
