Kayrat Mami, Chairman of the Kazakh Senate, has met Karl Lamers, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Trend reports.
The sides discussed further development of cooperation, exchanged views on security in Central Asia, ISAF achievements in Afghanistan.
Lamers praised Kazakhstan’s efforts in Afghanistan and noted its role in strengthening stability and security in the region.
Kazakhstan is an observer at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
