On the 10th of August a regular session of the Interagency Commission regulating the activities of the Free Economic Zone took place. The Commission is chaired by Mr. Tigran Davtyan, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
The Commission discussed the first bid submitted for obtaining permission to operate on the territory of the free economic zone based at "RAO Mars" CJSC and "The Yerevan Computer R&D Institute" CJSC.
The applicant is "RD ARTS", a Canadian LLC which carries out research and development in special software and mobile systems.
The Commission assessed positively the investment project of "RD ARTS" LLC and will present its conclusion to the government.
