The head of the North Caucasian republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, demands that the republic's border with neighbouring Ingushetia be reconsidered.
The issue was discussed today at a meeting of the republic's cabinet.
According to Kadyrov, the Chechen government has documents proving that the Sunzhensky district and a part of the Malgobeksky districts of Ingushetia are actually Chechen lands.
The idea of reconsidering the border was criticized harshly by the Ingush leader, Yunus-bek Yevkurov.
