The law-enforcement agencies of Dagestan have carried out a field operation in the Kizlyarsky district of the Republic. According to preliminary data, one militant was killed, informs RIA Novosti.
“Last night the police encircled one of the buildings in the village of Lesnaya Polyana. He refused to lay down his arms, but released two women and then opened fire. In the subsequent gunfight he was killed”, the Dagestani police announced, according to Interfax. One policeman was injured, reports the same source.
The militant was identified as Gusein Gaidakoff, and now his involvement in acts of terror is being established.
