Iranian Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani has cancelled his visit to Canada, RIA Novosti reports.
Larijani planned a visit to Canada in the second half of October to meet other speakers of parliament.
Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird said that the embassy in Tehran will be closed and diplomats had left Iran. Iranian diplomats got 5 days to leave the state.
Baird accused Iran of sending weapons and ammunition to Syria, a state suffering from a civil conflict for over a year, and of nuclear program threatening the world society.
