The Azerbaijan State Caspian Steamship Company (ASCSS) is going to buy ships from a shipbuilding enterprise in Azerbaijan, construction on which has recently begun, the head of ASCSS Ajdin Bashirov said on Saturday, Trend reports.
"We were going to buy the ships abroad, but now we think that, if a new shipbuilding plant is built in Azerbaijan, the orders will be made within the republic and so it will profit", Bashirov said.
