Prosperous Armenia Party expects to take second place in presidential polls

Prosperous Armenia will struggle for the second position in the presidential elections of 2013, Armenia Today reports.

Oligarch Gagik Tsarukyan is the most favourable candidate of PA. Second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, former Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan have little chances to gain many votes. The 450,000 votes obtained during the parliamentary elections were achieved under Tsarukyan’s leadership.

PA needs the second position at the presidential polls and will demand the RPA to give it a bigger role in forming the government. PA plans to form a coalition on different conditions and take part in appointing a prime minister.
