Spokeswoman of the US State Department Victoria Nuland said that Iran cannot help in resolving the Syrian problem, Rosbalt reports.
The US official said that Iran’s attempt to consolidate states at the Non-Aligned Movement conference in Tehran had failed. She reminded that Tehran had been supporting the Syrian government and Turkey had been accommodating Syrian refugees.
Mohammad Ali Assudi, head of the section for culture and propaganda of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, threatened to respond to a US attack on Syria.
