Azerbaijani Diplomatic Academy to host 40th annual forum

The Azerbaijani Diplomatic Academy (ADA) will host the 40th annual forum of rectors of diplomatic academies and deans of schools of international affairs on September 26-30 in Baku, Trend cites the academy as saying today.

This forum has been held since 1972 and is chaired by Vienna Diplomatic Academy (Austria) and Georgetown University (USA). Last year, the event was held in Boston, USA, and next year it is expected to take place in Belgrade, Serbia.

More than 90 rectors and deans are going to participate in the Baku forum. Attendees of the forum will discuss issues of diplomatic training as well as global political issues and their impact on modern education. Among the panel themes are energy diplomacy, diplomacy of small states, global political changes, evolution of regional organizations and environmental issues.
