About 500 people in Tehran have started protests at the Swiss Embassy in Iran against the “Innocence of Muslims” film, RIA Novosti reports.
About 200 police officers were mobilized to maintain order.
The US Embassy in Yemen was attacked in Sana’a. One man died and dozens were injured. They tried to break into the embassy and set several diplomatic vehicles on fire. The police have the situation under control.
“Innocence of Muslims” by Terry Jones (Florida), the priest infamous for public burning of the Quran, gives a negative image of Prophet Mohammad. Protests were provoked in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya. Depiction of Mohammad is forbidden in Islam. The US consulate in Benghazi was attacked.
