The European Parliament has demanded the resignation of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and more active international measures to stop the Syrian conflict, Interfax reports.
European MPs passed a resolution on Syria today, condemning use of force against women and children. They urged the regime to give humanitarian organizations and international media access to the country. The European Parliament demanded Assad to halt military operations to deliver humanitarian aid.
