Putin slams Krasnodar authorities

Russian President Vladimir Putin has criticized the Krasnodar Territory authorities for improperly dealing with the results of the summer floods, RIA Novosti reports.

The president condemned the region's officials, saying that in half of the settlements damaged by the disaster, restoration works have not even started.

"Two month have passed since the floods, yet restoration has started in only half of the settlements," Putin said.
