Turkish President Abdullah Gül flew to Kazakhstan today. In the framework of his three-day visit, President Gül will attend celebrations marking the anniversary of the foundation of Astana and the 70th birthday of the country's president, Nursultan Nazarbayev, TRT reports.
During the ceremony Abdullah Gül will give an address on behalf of all Turkic peoples. In addition, he will meet several political leaders of the region, who will also travel to Kazakhstan for the celebrations.
