An explosion occurred today in Makhachkala. According to preliminary data, two people were injured, RIA Novosti reports, referring to the local police authorities.
"The explosive device was detonated on Akushinskogo Street on the 7th line. According to preliminary data the bomb was planted near or in a refuse bin", said the correspondent.
One of the injured, a civilian, was taken to hospital, information on the other casualty has yet to be specified, according to the Dagestani Police Press Service representative .
