The lower chamber of the Russian parliament will form a committee for mass media, Speaker Sergey Naryshkin said today, RIA Novosti reports.
Formation of the committee will take a few weeks and will be accomplished during the autumn session.
Naryshkin explained that lawmakers pay great attention to mass information, implementation of new technologies, formation of public television and passing of related laws.
