A summit of the Eurasian economic community under the chairmanship of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev opened today in Astana, KazTag reports.
Leaders of all EurAsEC member-states will participate in the summit, and Serzh Sargsyan, the president of observer state Armenia will also take part. It is expected that EurAsEC's 2011 budget will be passed at the meeting and the establishment of the organization's court will be completed.
The sidelines of the summit will also see a session of the Customs Union. The session will see a discussion of the next phase of integration - the establishment of a common economic space.
