Turkey to allocate Kyrgyzstan $21 million

Turkey will allocate Kyrgyzstan $21 million to support its budget and finance the construction of housing in the southern regions of the country. The news was announced following a meeting between the Kyrgyz interim government's deputy chairman Almazbek Atambaev and Turkish foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu, which took place in Bishkek, the news agency 24kg reports.
"A decision was made to allot $10 million for budget support and $11 million for construction in order to reconstruct houses damaged or destroyed as the result of inter-ethnic clashes in the Osh and Jalalabad regions," Atambaev noted.
