Sergey Lebedev, head of the CIS monitoring mission and Executive Secretary of the CIS, believes that Belarus is ready for democratic parliamentary elections, ITAR-TASS reports.
CIS observers have arrived in various regions of Belarus and have all they need for the monitoring process.
330 CIS observers will monitor the elections on September 23.
Belarus has 294 candidates for 110 seats of parliament. Initial voting has started today. The main day of vote is September 23.
