Georgian actress Anna Gurji (Giorgobiani), starring in the “Innocence of Muslims” film about the Prophet Muhammad, said that the initial script had been different, News Georgia reports.
She did not know that the name George would be changed to Muhammad. Gurji starred as Hilary, the bride of protagonist George. The film was about a comet falling in the ancient Middle East, provoking a fight between local tribes. Most of the film was made on a green background to add special effects later.
Gurji said that her salary was $75 a day.
The film has provoked protests in Egypt, Yemen, Sudan, Tunisia, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Four US diplomats, including an ambassador, were killed in an attack on the US consulate in Benghazi.
