The OSCE sees TurkPA as an ideal platform to resolve conflicts peacefully.
In Vienna at the OSCE office a bilateral meeting was held between the OSCE Secretary General , Ambassador Lamberto Zannier, and the TurkPA Secretary General, Ramil Hasanov, the TurkPA secretariat told Trend.
Thanking Ramil Hasanov for his visit, Zannier welcomed the strengthening and development of cooperation between the two organizations. Zannier also stressed that TurkPA is an ideal platform for intensifying relations with Central Asia, Afghanistan and other countries in the region, restoring peace and stability in Afghanistan and settling the conflict.
Hasanov expressed gratitude to the OSCE Secretary General for the warm welcome and said that parliamentary diplomacy as part of a global dialogue can be used as an effective platform in conflict resolution, and that TurkPA member-states are making efforts to restore peace in Afghanistan. He also added that TurkPA is always ready to cooperate with such an influential international organization as the OSCE.
