The Syrian conflict and the Iranian nuclear program were the main topics of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in New York, ITAR-TASS reports.
Ban Ki-moon urged Iran to take all measures to convince the international society that the nuclear program has peaceful intensions. He pointed out that hatred and mutual threats were unacceptable. The UN secretary general expressed hope that Iran will continue playing a constructive role in international relations as the chair of the Non-Aligned Movement.
