The international conference “Building Bridges” will take place in Baku on September 27-28. 1news.az reports that the initiators of the event are the Association of the Civil Society Ddevelopment Support of Azerbaijan (APRGOA) and the Institute of European Affairs (INEA).
About 40 top representatives of European nations will participate in the international conference. They will discuss the development of cooperation in political, economic, sporting, educational, and scientific spheres and the boosting of mutual understanding between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
The foreign minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mamedyarov will speak at the conference, as well as other Azerbaijani ministers. The participants of the international conference are politicians from various European countries, former officials, PMs, ministers, and other governmental members of European states and representatives of the EU structures.
The next round of talks on the simplification of the visa regime between the EU and Azerbaijan will take place in early November in Baku.
