Dushanbe will host a round-table conference on Tajikistan’s membership in the Customs Union (Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus) on September 26, CA-News reports.
Development of economic ties between Russia and Tajikistan will be the main topic for discussions. Joining the Customs Union will allow Tajikistan to import petroleum, wood, grain and other products.
The conference will be attended by members of the Russian Presidential Administration, Tajik executives, MPs, experts and journalists.
The meeting was organized by the Institute for Eurasian Studies of Russia and the Institute for Economics and Demography of the Tajik Academy of Sciences.
