Russian officials note more crime in North Caucasus

The Russian prosecutor general's office notes that crime in the North Caucasus has risen to higher levels, RIA Novosti reports on Tuesday.

"In the first half-year of 2012 there were 705 registered crimes, which is one third more than in the same period of the previous year," the statement says.
