The French Gendarmerie has presented materials about Georgian former minister Giorgi Khaindrava plotting a coup, Trend reports.
The materials includes videos of a meeting of criminals attended by Khandrava in France on November 9, 2011. Khaindrava and five criminal leaders from Georgia, including Revaz Lordkipanidze were seen on the videos.
According to Khaindrava’s speech, he was planning to form an analogue of Mhedrioni, a guerilla group notable for terrorizing the country in the 1990s. Khaindrava was part of the group.
The man has already been summoned by the prosecutors for questioning.
