Two blasts have happened at Damascus center near the main square of the Umayyad, ITAR-TASS reports.
Gunfire can be heard near the square and the Street of Abu Ruman. Officers have enforced security at the General Staff building in the district.
The Free Syrian Army is suspected of setting bombs in two vehicles.
Two terrorist attacks were made in the district on September 2. Barracks being constructed near the General Staff were hit by explosions. Four people were injured.
