Iraq plans to buy jets and helicopters for $5 billion in Russia. Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki will visit Moscow to sign a related contract in October, Vzglyad reports.
Russia will sell Sukhoi and MiG jets and Mi helicopters. The first package of contracts with Rosoboronexport will be worth $4.3 billion.
Contracts will be signed to purchase MiG-29M/M2, armored vehicles, 42 Pantsir-S1s, 30 Mi-28NEs.
