The US may reconsider forming anti-missile systems in Europe and may scrap the idea of installing them in Poland, Kommersant reports.
The NRC commission studying the missile systems in Europe for about 3 years said that anti-missile defenses would be unable to protect the US and its allies from Iran. The NRC recommended that the SM-3 interceptors planned in Poland be scrapped.
Iranian and Chinese missiles may be intercepted on the eastern coast of the US.
