CIS prime ministers meet in Yalta

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will attend the CIS council of prime ministers at the Livadiysky Palace of Yalta today, RIA Novosti reports.

Government leaders will discuss the free trade zone, innovative cooperation and formation of an information channel of the CIS.

They will consider boosting ratification of the CIS free trade zone agreement, realizing the plan for an information society before 2015 and supplementing the Mir and Mir+3 channels with an interstate channel for the CIS.

Medvedev is expected to attend the 3rd International Investment Business Forum. He will then meet his counterparts Nikolai Azarov (Ukraine), Mikhail Myasnikovich (Belarus), Vlad Filat (Moldova) and Tigran Sargsyan (Armenia).
